So what got me here?
Well just over a year ago I was diagnosed with MS, a chronic illness that brings many challenges. I gave this chronic illness 2012. Yes, I gave it a whole year of my life but I will not give it another day. Life is for living and that is what I am doing by realising my dream.
I have specialised in baby and maternity photography for many years and last year decided to get some pretty, albeit provocative, photos of myself done for my partner Phil - it was an OK experience but I didn't feel comfortable at all. I decided that I needed to just go for it and offer women, like me, not only great photos but a comfortable, enjoyable and fun experience. Here I am just a short three months later - lease signed and studio open for business.
Yesterday I welcomed Gemma into the new studio and I think we may have been as nervous as each other. As it turns out, neither of us needed to worry. My lovely MUA (that is makeup artist to you and I) was the lovely Lauren and she did an amazing job of Gemma's makeover. We had a fun time, playing girly music and playing with different outfits and sets.

As you can see, Gemma looks stunning and the day was a complete success.

Watch this space - two ladies in tomorrow :)
